Meeting called to order by Gurr at 3:03 P.M.
Opened with Pledge of Allegiance.

Approval of Minutes: December 5, 2019. Motion: Schafer, 2nd Robbins. Carried.
Public Comment: None (0)
Communications: Gurr mentioned MI Association of Planning will meet at the Grand Traverse Resort this year and encourages members to talk with the office if they would like to attend this informative session. The meeting will be in April. He will share his information from the county planning committee.

PROPOSED LANGUAGE CHANGES FROM 2-6-2020 PC MEETING
Definitions:

5.01.05 – Temporary Dwellings
- During the course of new construction, or where the permanent dwelling of the resident applicant has become uninhabitable due to damage caused by fire, wind, or other natural calamity or emergency.
5.01.01—Accessory Buildings and Structures
- Add as last sentence:
Said structures are permitted in the AG District without a dwelling unit on the property.
C.2. Strike ‘shall’ at the end of sentence.
C.2.a. Add ‘shall’ at the beginning of bullet.
C.2.b. Strike current bullet and replace with:
May contain living quarters, provided that proper Health Department permits are secured.
5.01.07 – Damaged Buildings
- The Zoning Administrator or qualified assessor may require the owner of any damaged building to board all the doors and windows within 15 days of official notification to protect the public safety, health, and welfare.
