Draft Helena Township Board Meeting July 14th, 2022

Meeting called to order at 7:03 PM.  Members present were Butch Peeples, David Peterson, Bonnie Robbins, Cathy Rice and Butch Bartz.  Motion by Robbins to approve the agenda and supported by Bartz and approved.  Motion by Bartz to approve the June’s meeting minutes and supported by Rice and approved.

Public Comment: None

 Treasurer’s Report:  beginning balance June1^st, 2022 is $739164.43

                                     Total receipts: $123,890.11 and total disbursements: $34,907.12

                                     Ending balance June 30; 2022 is $828147.42

Motion to approve the treasurer’s report by Robbins and supported by Bartz and approved.

Presentation of Bills: June 1-30:  $29,319.58, July 1-14th; $19,404.76

Fire Chief/Sheriff Report:  Paul Fabianoreviewed report for STLFD.  Sheriff Dan Bean gave report.

Communications: None

Zoning: Reviewed Bob Logee’s zoning report

Planning Commission: next meeting August 4^th at 6:00 PM will include public hearing for ordinance change language for mobile food units, cargo container storage, and other adjustment to the current ordinance.  Master plan survey and marijuana dispensary survey will be mailed this month.

Parks & Rec: Coy Mtn. Preserve dedication July, 16, 2022.

Roads: No trailer parking signs installed in Alden.

Old Business: Supervisor to visit and review all lake accesses with Fire Chief; Paul Fabiano.

New Business: None

Rice made the motion to pay the bills and supported by Robbins and approved.
