Minutes of Helena Township Planning Commission

February 2, 2023

Meeting called to order by Gurr at 5.05 P.M.

Opened with Pledge of Allegiance.

 Roll Call:

Township officials present:   Butch Peeples ,  Bob Logee

 Approval of Agenda:  Motion by Schafer, 2^nd by Gurr   Carried

 Statement of Conflict of Interest:         None

 Public Comment:         0 in attendance.

Communications:         Gurr will bring info about wineries to the next meeting.

Approval of Minutes:   November 3, 2022 As submitted.  Motion: Schafer, 2^nd  Bassil.  Carried

New Business:             November 2022: LU 2, FC 2, AC 0, PC 4, ZV 0

December 2022:  LU 2, FC 4, AC 0, PC 5, ZV 0

January 2023:   LU 0, FC 0, AC 0, PC 4, ZV 0  (from Board meeting reports)

Motion to amend bi-laws for meeting time.  Motion by Robbins to set meeting date and time as:  1^st Thursday of each month at 5:00 PM.  Supported by Schafer.  Carried         

Old Business:             Master Plan survey data still being compiled.

                                    Clarification on procedure to change accessory building size restriction in                                           ordinance.

Logee shared language change suggestions for future meeting review.

Public Comment:         Peeples commented on ordinance and nuisance communications being reviewed and will keep members informed of progress and recommendations as he receive the updates.
