August 8, 2014
Meeting called to order by Gurr (7:02pm)
Opened with Pledge of Allegiance.

Township officials present: Guy Molby
Approval of Agenda: as submitted Motion: Robbins, 2nd Johnson. Carried
Statement of Conflict of Interest: None
Approval of Minutes: Two corrections, Dewald not present. Motion: Johnson, 2nd Robbins. Carried
Public Comment: (2 in attendance)
Candidate Scott Sentieri Centuri stated his reasons for running for County Commissioner.
Molby asked for clarification on short term rental. Resident renting for 3 day periods. Definition of short term rental is 7 days minimum.
Molby requested PC discuss setbacks on private drives or easements and discuss what classifies as a roadway.
Molby requested PC discuss permit for uses in the greenbelt buffer zone.
Molby also discussed township standing with vendors and street peddlers setting up during an upcoming event. Questioned if the township needs a permitting process or regulations.
Communications: Kate Redman of Olson, Bzdok & Howard, P.C. sent material for site plan review however, meeting was canceled and has not been rescheduled. Applicant is working with his lawyer to get additional language into the condo documents and septic permits in place. Anticipates next review committee meeting to be final review. Complete record of review will be compiled by Redman for public hearing by planning commission.
Old Business: Master plan review was postponed. Notices to be posted to draw input from the public. Discussion of where master plan is on the website and question if it could be moved. Discussion that website needs updated and refreshed. Robbins to report need to board.

Public Comment:
Resident asked about property owned by Alden State Bank next to the boat launch and if the township is considering accepting it and developing it as a park. Discussion of the parks and lands already owned and maintained by the township and the likelihood that the township would not be in a position to accept a donation of the property.
Question from PC members about payment of township employees other than Mr. Molby for zoning administrative duties. Robbins will ask the board for clarification.
